How to Book Moving Totes Online (and What Happens After You Pay)

Moving is already a lot of back and forth. Booking your totes shouldn't add more. You can now book and pay for a Totes4U rental online in a couple of minutes, see the full price before you pay, and walk away with a confirmed date. Here's exactly how it works, start to finish.

Booking, step by step

1. Pick a package. Studio (20 totes) up to 5 Bedroom (100 totes). Every package is a full 2 weeks with delivery and pickup included. Not sure which one? The room by room guide breaks it down.
2. Pick your drop off date and time. We need at least 24 hours notice. The page shows your pickup date right away, and you can add extra weeks up front if you already know you'll need them.
3. Tell us where. Enter the drop off address. Moving to a new place? Check the box to have us pick up from your new address instead. Both need to be in Ocean County or Monmouth County.
4. Add your details and any notes. Name, email and phone, plus anything we should know: where to leave the totes, stairs, gate codes, a side door.
5. Pay securely. You land on a Stripe checkout page with card, Apple Pay and Google Pay. NJ sales tax is added there, and if you have a promo code, that's where it goes.

What happens after you pay

• A confirmation email lands within a few minutes with your package, drop off date and time, address and pickup date. Stripe sends your payment receipt separately.
• We drop off the totes on your date. You don't need to be home.
• You pack and move over the next 2 weeks, or longer if you added extra weeks.
• We pick up the empties on your pickup date. Stack them somewhere we can reach, like the porch, the driveway or an open garage. No need to clean them.

If your plans change

Moves shift. Closings slide. Here's how changes work:

• Change your drop off time: reply to your confirmation email at least 12 hours before.
• Cancel: full refund if you cancel more than 24 hours before drop off. No refund after that.
• Need more time: let us know before your pickup date. Extra weeks are a flat rate per package, from $45 for a Studio to $95 for a 5 Bedroom.
• Picked up late: your card is saved for the rental, and if pickup runs past the scheduled date, it's charged your package's extra week rate, plus tax, for each week or part of a week. You'll get an email explaining the charge.
