A few specifics. Minimum order is 20 totes. A dolly is $10 per dolly for the rental. Extra weeks are priced per package, $45 for a Studio up to $95 for a 5 Bedroom. Lost or damaged totes are $35 each and a missed pickup is a $65 trip fee, same as any other rental. Not sure which size fits? The room by room sizing guide does the math.

Common questions

Is a tote rental a good gift for first time buyers?

It is one of the most useful ones. First time buyers are usually moving out of an apartment with no boxes, no dolly and no idea how much they own. A Studio or 1 Bedroom package covers most first moves.

Can I give the gift before my client has a move date?

Yes. On the request form, check that the move date is not set yet and we will reach out to your client to schedule once they know it.

Who do you coordinate the delivery with?

Whoever you tell us to. Most agents give us the client's name, the delivery address and the date, and we work the scheduling out with the client directly from there. If you would rather stay in the middle of it, that is fine too.

How far ahead do you need the date?

At least 24 hours notice to get a delivery on the schedule. Closing season and summer Saturdays fill up sooner, so a week or two of lead time is safer.

What if the closing date moves?

Email us before the delivery date and we will move it. Closings slide all the time and it is not a problem as long as we hear from you.

Which package should I buy?

Match it to the home they are moving out of, not the one they just bought. A client leaving a 2 bedroom needs about 40 totes. Our sizing guide at the moving totes article walks through it room by room, and if you are between sizes, round up.

Do you deliver to the old address or the new one?

The one they are packing in, which is almost always the old address. Pickup happens at the new place once they are unpacked.

What area do you cover?

Ocean County and Monmouth County, NJ. If your client is just outside that, email us and we will tell you straight whether we can get there.
